In The Same Breath was an independent passion project created with Rinnell Borges and Bee Keene. We developed this project over the course of a year. The exhibition explores the idea that multiple realities, perspectives, and emotions can exist at once. We were interested in the space between idealism and realism, and how our individual experiences shape the way we understand and move through the world. The title reflects this feeling of existing in the same moment while experiencing it in completely different ways.
We poured countless hours into developing the concept, experimenting, making, planning, and problem-solving to bring the exhibition to life. We took on every part of the process ourselves, from creating the work and figuring out how different mediums could exist together to designing the space and building the final experience. The exhibition brought together graphic design, printmaking, creative coding, experience design, and fabric-based visuals, creating a space that reflected both our individual creative voices and what we could build together.
